1. They Use their Main Character to Farm, items, Mats etc.
While this technique works, it makes the game boring, real fast. Why? Because it changes the way you play the game. All of a sudden the game becomes more about the auction alt, then your main character. Now you got your main running all over Azeroth feeding your lowbie alt with everything you can chuck at him. Your game now has shifted, it no longer is about raids, end game instances, it has become all about this lowbie auction alt. The next thing you know is a week or 2 later the game becomes utterly boring. It really should be about your alt feeding your main, freeing up his time so you can enjoy the game the way it's supposed to be enjoyed.
2. Posting too Many Lots At Once.
When you sitting on 10 different stacks of ghost mushrooms, you gain nothing by posting all these stacks up on the auction house at the same time. Not only do you take the chance of all of them not selling, which will cost you auction re-listing fees (eating your profits) but you kill demand. You make it seem like this stuff is way to easy to get, after all there is 10 different stacks of this same item from the same seller. It gets harder if you do this to get the price you want, or the price that this item deserves if you post too many lots up at once, stick to 3 or 4, no more.
3. Buying Blues and Greens for Re-sale.
What? This is the backbone of the whole idea of buying low and selling high. When you see a green or blue item for a deal, you snatch it up and re-sell it for a profit. Yes, and No. But there's a better way. Selling greens and blues for resale, only means you fell into the trap every wow gold guide told you.
